
Dr. Tucker obtained a B.A. in Chemistry from Indiana University and his M.D. from the University of Missouri. Prior to clinical medicine, Dr. Tucker also served as a Guest Investigator at the Rockefeller University and was a Fellow of the Pew Memorial Foundation Trust. Dr. Tuckers' training included Residency and Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences where he was also a fellow in the Specialty Training and Research program.
Dr. Tucker is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Attending Physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and a practicing clinical oncologist with expertise in the management of prostate cancer. Currently Dr. Tucker serves as President of the Medical Oncology Association of Southern California, a member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology Clinical Practice Committee, and on the Board of Directors of the Community Oncology Alliance.
Dr. Tucker has received numerous honors and awards including the American Society for Clinical Oncology Merit Award, NIH Outstanding Student Award, University of Missouri Fellowship Award, and the Endocrine Society Fellowship Award. He lectures nationally and internationally, and his research has been published in leading medical journals.
