Dr. Taras Benzar is a triple-board certified physician in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He specializes in the full breadth of hematologic and oncologic care, prioritizing cutting-edge techniques and patient advocacy in his practice. His clinical expertise spans benign and malignant hematology and a broad spectrum of solid tumors, with interests in breast and thoracic oncology, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and personalized viral anti-neoplastic approaches. Dr. Benzar completed his Internal Medicine residency followed by Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at Louisiana State University. He further expanded his expertise through certification in Immuno-Oncology from Harvard Medical School.
